Kurdish fighters take back 2 towns from ISIS militants

                         
The tides have been turned in Northern Iraq as Kurdish forces retake 2 towns from the ISIS militant group. The Kurdish forces who are the closest Iraqi allies of the U.S have been able to wrestle large parts of Northern Iraq from  the ISIS.

Brig. Gen. Shirko Fatih said the Kurdish fighters were able to push the militants of the Islamic State group out of the villages of Makhmour and al-Gweir, some 27 miles from Irbil.

 To matters worst for the ISIS, the United States announced a fourth round of airstrikes on Sunday against them.
